I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC), Master Addictions Counselor (MAC), Substance Abuse Professional (SAP), Nationally Certified Recovery Coach, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), and Certified Radiant Body Yoga Teacher.
Integrated addiction therapy is the model I engage clients in using traditional Western and Eastern mental health and wellness approaches for people who want to overcome addiction.
I have studied and trained in Interpersonal Neurobiology (Daniel Siegel, MD) and a Level 1 therapist in the Internal Family Systems Model (Richard Schwartz, PhD). The 12 Step tradition serves as the foundation of guiding my patients to a deeper understanding of what “recovery” can truly mean in their lives. These approaches have informed my personal journey in recovery, a path of 25 years.
I am s a nationally published author, speaker and presenter; I live in Leesburg, Virginia with my husband and three rescue dogs.
